About the company
You will be working for a highly successful full cycle M&E services contractor based in Warrington, managing the procurement for commercial projects across the UK.
About the role
You will be working amongst the in-house commercial & design team, identifying and procuring the goods and services, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing company supply of products and services
- Finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services
- Ensure sources are of high quality and affordable
- Negotiating contracts and acquiring cost efficient deals
- Managing co-ordination and evaluation of all procurement
- Building long lasting relationships with suppliers
- Pre-qualification, negotiation, preparation of contracts and tender management
About you

To be considered for this role, you will:
- Hold a business related qualification within Business Management, Contract Management, or Procurement
- Hold an industry recognised certification (CIP/ NVQ etc)
- Have a good level of experience in the M&E Building Services sector (essential)
- Have a minimum of 2 years experience as either a Procurement Clerk, Junior Buyer or related position (essential)
- An understanding of the background knowledge of commercial mechanical & electrical building services
- Negotiation experience
- A full UK Driving Licence
